Excursions
A one day snorkeling
trip leads to the beautiful mangroves in Nabk or the Ras Mohamed
Nature Parks.
A short trip to Wadi Mandar is a combination of driving and camel
riding. On camel back you can enjoy the sunset in the desert followed
by a tea or a dinner.
An overnight jeep tour takes you to Wadi Kid, a fertile wadi and
a night at a Bedouin farm in the lush oasis.
The popular tour is
a jeep trip that goes north direction Nuweiba into the remote
interior of the desert and on foot to the magnificent Colored
Canyon. After a lunch break at Habiba
Restaurant, a unique romantic restaurant in Nuweiba, the adventure
continues by visiting the free Dolphin. Yet, she is not always
there. The trip ends with a shopping possibility in the bazaars
of Dahab.
An excursion to the
monastery of St. Catherine can be visited on a one day trip or
you can stay for overnight climbing Mt. Sinai, where it is said
that Moses received the Ten Commandments. An experience itself
is the 2 hours drive through an amazing landscape which changes
from eroded sandstone to granite formation.
