Egyptian food
is interesting and worth a try. The most famous dish of which is Foul and Felafel. Foul  are cooked beans mixed with oil or butter. Though there are many different varieties of the famous traditional Foul: spicy, with garlic or eggs.  Felafel is a mix of crushed beans that is mixed and fried in oil.
A popular meal is Koshari,  a mix of pasta, rice and lentil with fried onion topping and garlic sauce. Aside from these very popular Egyptian meals, you can easily find Kebab (grilled beef), kofta (grilled meat balls). Also various types of cooked vegetables (molokhia, bamia (okra), peas and zucchini). Another pillar of Egyptian food is mahshee, it consists of vegetables: eggplant, grape leafs, zucchini and tomatoes stuffed with rice and herbs.
