The high mountain range of St. Katherine is of historical and geological importance. Tours take place in an average altitude of 1500 to 2200 m. The highest peak of "Jebel Katrien" is 2665 m.

Relics of hermitages and monasteries take you back into early Christian times when monks were living in these mountains in solitude and a "stillness", where God is always present.

Hikers indulge in red granite water pools, visit lush gardens cultivated by Bedouins and enjoy the most incredible views.
