The only Camel Riding School
in Nuweiba offers a unique opportunity to spend your holiday doing something completely different.
In a sparse environment, the desert of Sinai, in a beautiful location on the beach, overlooking the Gulf of Aqaba local Bedouin will teach you about the camel and its nature.

The camel is the main source of survival of nomadic people in a hostile desert environment over centuries. Our aim is not only to provide the best firsthand knowledge about this interesting animal but you are also offered to learn about herbal medicine, flora and fauna and not at last about Bedouin way of life and survival in a wilderness that has not much to offer and yet is so surprisingly rich.

The Course lasts for 3 days and is recommended for groups with interest in camels as wel as the fast vanishing culture of the Bedouins in south Sinai

Advanced camel treks are focusing on the element of Bedouin way of life and survival. Under the supervision of your Bedouin leader you will learn to care for your own camel, feeding, riding, loading it yourself . Bedouins will show you techniques of collecting wood and preparing delicious food on campfires without using amounts of natural resources. You will discover where and how to find water, how to protect yourself against the heat during the day or the cold windy nights in winter or shelter against one of the rare flashfloods.
There is only a slight possibility of observing wildlife, yet the Bedouins will tell you about the clever desert fox and the gazelles once abandoned and now very rare. You can listen to stories about the more dangerous desert species: snakes and scorpions and how Bedouins take precautions against poisonous bites and how they cure themselves.
At a first look desert vegetation looks very sparse and yet the Sinai desert is known for its many medical plants. Soon you will be able to distinguish between the main herbal plants along your track and know which illness they are supposed to heal efficiently.

All our treks let you experience the real meaning of "beyond time and space". No need for your watch, the sun will wake you up. No concrete boundaries limit your sight just incredibly magnificent mountains of always changing colors and shapes.
