This
jeep tour provides a brief insight into the beauty of the Sinai and is
suitable as an adventurous add-on to your Egyptian holiday schedule.
The tour includes a visit to the Monastery of St. Catherine and the climb
of Mt Moses for sunrise and continues visiting significant landmarks in
the Sinai desert.
The Sinai Adventure tour is suitable for families with children older
than 8 years.
Day 1:
After breakfast pick up at the hotel in Cairo and transfer to the Suez
Tunnel. Lunch at the springs of Ayoun Mussa. Continue to Wadi Feiran where
you visit the Nuns' Monastery. Drive to St. Catherine for overnight at
the Monastery Guest house.
Day 2:
Early wake up at about 02:00, climb Mount Moses for sunrise. Visit the
Monastery, then drive to the village of St. Catherine for shopping. Drive
to Wadi Safra, where there is one of the biggest sand dune in the area.
After lunch drive to Gebel El Makhroum (a former landmark for Pilgrims)
and camp out under the million stars.
Day 3:
After breakfast drive to Nawamis burial chambers of the early Bronze Age.
Drive to visit the Rock of Inscription. Lunch with an overview over the
beautiful Oasis Ain Hudra. Walk the sandy slope down to the oasis of Ain
Hudra and have your camp in the biblical oasis.
Day 4:
We drive from Wadi Ghazala direction Colored Canyon. Hike the canyon.
After lunch we head towards Nuweiba. We stay in one of the camps and enjoy
a lazy afternoon at the Red Sea
Day 5:
after breakfast - return back to Cairo to your hotel.
