Id
Abu Ali |
My name is Id Abu Ali. I am a
Bedouin of the Muzeina tribe, one of the largest tribes in South
Sinai.
The Arabic word "Bedouin" means "desert dweller". Though
times
are changing and Bedouins have settled, my love and my respect belong to the
desert.

More than 25 years I am guiding travelers on Camel Treks and Jeep Tours through the magnificent interior of the "great and terrible wilderness" traveling remote wadis and canyons, visiting ancient places already mentioned in the bible as the beautiful oasis Ein Khudra (biblical Hazeroth). We visit mystical places as Nawamis, ancient burial chambers dated back to the early Bronze Age - or Sarabit al Khadem with its Turquoise Mines and its temple devoted to the ancient Goddess Hathor.

My journeys offer travelers the rare and privileged opportunity to experience
the desert at first hand and at the traditional pace of life.

During the journey you enjoy the warm and unforgettable hospitality of my people, you experience our traditional nomadic lifestyle, while traveling a land rich in history and natural wonders.
By the end of the trip I hope that you have learned to see the desert a little the way I see it: though vegetation is sparse, animal life rare, the spiritual experience of nature is unique.

Camel treks can last from 3 days to 10 days or longer. Jeep Tours ideally last from 3 days to 7 days, one day excursions are possible. Tours may start from anywhere in Sinai, I can arrange for transport from/to the airport and accommodation in Bedouin camps and Bedouin owned hotels. I will be happy to provide you with your own special tour program.
